Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst - Onsite at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher Life Sciences. This role is responsible for managing high performance analytics technology platforms for a complex global organization. Location: Brea, CA; on-site. Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain Beckman Coulters BI applications: Oracle Analytics/Oracle Business Intelligence (OAS/OAC/OBI) and Power BI (PBI). Include OAS repository modifications and deployment, user access provisioning, security management, and Power BI dataflow design and other feature enhancements. Collaborate with various departments, learn about their data and business processes, elicit business requirements, and create insightful dashboards and reports. Manage IT projects and offshore development teams. Determine the future technology roadmap for Beckman Coulter IT. Essential Requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or other relevant fields. Bachelors Degree with 5+ years or Masters Degree with 3+ years or Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant experience. At least 5+ years designing and developing enterprise visualization and reporting applications such as OAS/OBI and Power BI; 5+ years experience with relational databases and SQL code development. Understanding of various functional processes such as Logistics, Finance, Service, Sales, and Order Management. Designing and implementing complex data models and knowledge of data transformation (ETL) processes. Nice-to-have
Python, machine learning, Snowflake database development or other data science toolsets. Traditional and Agile project lifecycle frameworks. Facilitation and the ability to adapt communications to the level and nature of the audience. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $122,000 - $133,000. This is the range we in good faith believe to be the range of possible compensation at the time of posting, and it may be modified in the future. This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
