Subcontract Manager

You will be the Subcontract Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for securing the future of the company and warfighter through program and new product development. You will play a key role in managing subcontracts to support multiple prime contract customers. What You Will Be Doing Leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams Managing the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout Preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts Managing supplier relationships, cost, schedule, and performance issues Monitoring and performing Earned Value analysis of supplier costs Maintaining accuracy of purchasing documents and data Why Join Us We're looking for a highly organized and collaborative individual to join our team. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in negotiations/meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives. Desired Skills Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR/DFAR/LMAP/ and MFC Work Instructions Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions Experience managing complex subcontracts Contract/TINA negotiations experience Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types Ability to operate in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment P2P, SCNav, SAP Experience Control Account Management (CAM) Experience Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management. Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills. Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
