For over 130 years, the Martha O'Bryan Center (MOBC) has been committed to building stronger communities by addressing the root causes of poverty and expanding opportunity for children, youth, and families across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. The next President and CEO will lead these efforts, guiding MOBC through its next era of growth and innovation. This leader will have an extraordinary opportunity to expand the organization\'s national impact, strengthen its partnerships, and build on MOBC\'s legacy of service and transformation. The incoming CEO will also foster organizational sustainability, drive strategic initiatives, and serve as a visible ambassador for MOBC\'s mission and vision. MOBC seeks a visionary, mission-driven leader with a proven record of advancing solutions for economic mobility, education, and equity. They will demonstrate success in organizational leadership, fundraising, and advocacy, with a commitment to addressing complex social issues through innovative and scalable approaches.

Responsibilities

Lead MOBC through its next era of growth and innovation, expanding national impact and strengthening partnerships. Foster organizational sustainability and drive strategic initiatives; serve as a visible ambassador for MOBC\'s mission and vision. Oversee programs in education, workforce development, community revitalization, and family success; advance advocacy initiatives to eliminate systemic barriers to upward mobility. Provide leadership in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy to address complex social issues through innovative and scalable approaches.

Success in organizational leadership, fundraising, and advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range for this position is $300,000–$350,000 annually, with relocation assistance available. A generous benefits package is offered, including health, dental, and vision insurance; basic and voluntary life/AD&D insurance; disability insurance; accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance; an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Flexible Spending Account; and a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% match.
