Project Manager/Change Manager

Anika Systems is a fast-growing federal IT consulting firm that helps government clients modernize, transform, and innovate through data, intelligent automation, enterprise IT modernization, and digital solutions. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Change Manager to support a high-impact federal client engagement. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving organizational transformation, stakeholder engagement, and system adoption. This position is partly on-site in the Washington, DC area. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities (interviews, workshops, readiness assessments) aligned with the overall change strategy. Develop and maintain change impact analyses to inform communication, training, and adoption plans. Facilitate client-facing meetings to drive alignment, uncover risks, and ensure readiness for adoption. Support and synthesize outputs from workshops, translating insights into tactical change actions. Represent change management across program forums to ensure integration with technical and program objectives. Build relationships with stakeholders to assess readiness, mitigate resistance, and promote adoption. Coordinate and deliver communications, training sessions, and change events to drive user understanding and engagement. Use data-driven insights and feedback mechanisms to evaluate stakeholder readiness and adjust strategies. Deliver end-user presentations that promote confidence in system capabilities and process changes. Coach executive leaders and supervisors to strengthen organizational change capacity and sustain momentum. Partner with program leads and cross-functional teams in an agile environment to execute stakeholder-specific and program-wide plans. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for transformation and adoption success. Ensure high-quality deliverables, timely documentation, and transparent reporting across all change management activities. Rapidly acclimate to new tools and technologies to support program adoption Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Minimum of 10 years professional experience, including hands-on change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and project management. Demonstrated ability to implement change management strategies within client delivery environments. Proven success in building trusted relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders. Experience developing and executing change management and communications deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to adapt messages to diverse audiences. Collaborative, empathetic, and inquisitive mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to travel and work on client site up to five days per week, as required. Preferred Skills

Experience with large-scale federal IT transformation or modernization initiatives. Familiarity with change management frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or CCMP (certification preferred). Experience conducting readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, training design, and communications planning. Background in federal consulting. Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement and user story development. Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
