The Global Specialization CoE drives sustainable growth for Salesforce's most strategic products, designing and evolving the GTM for Specialists (Subject Matter Expert Sellers) supported by data and insights. The Global Specialist Operational Excellence team develops best-in-class tools, processes, and strategic recommendations for Specialist Sales and Strategy. The.Role: This role is for a Sales Strategy and Operations Senior Analyst in the Specialization CoE's Specialist Operational Excellence team. You will support accurate Specialist Sales Reporting and Forecasting and create strategic Go-To-Market recommendations. You will manage the weekly Global Specialist Forecast, support forecasting/reporting infrastructure, collaborate on BI tool development, and lead analytical and operational projects. You will work with CoE leadership, Specialist Sales and Strategy leadership, and cross-functional partners to drive executive-level recommendations for Specialist Distribution teams. Key Responsibilities
Define Specialist Reporting and Forecasting models in alignment with GTM Manage the weekly consolidated global forecast for Specialist Sales at Salesforce Set up and maintain Google Sheets and Tableau assets for tracking and monitoring Specialist Sales performance; derive insights to identify opportunities Create and automate queries from Snowflake to extract data from Salesforce, clean and format data for reporting on sales performance and trends Build executive presentations on KPIs and analyses to provide strategic recommendations Collaborate with the Central Analytics Team on Global Dashboards for Specialist Sales reporting; work with Data Analytics, Territory Operations and Business Technology on field definitions Quality assurance of Global Dashboards data by cross-referencing datasets Support global and regional Strategy teams and Specialist Sales Leadership on operational and reporting challenges; enable Specialist Sellers on Forecasting, Tooling and Salesforce CRM rigour Troubleshoot operational issues; drive changes to systems/processes to fix root causes Engage in analysis and guidance for annual GTM, Capacity and Territory Planning for Specialist Sellers Revise forecasting hierarchy and models to align with GTM during annual planning and mid-year adjustments Lead other strategic projects and initiatives, including evaluating opportunities for products or business units and process improvement Required Skills/Experience
3+ years of professional experience in sales/product strategy, business operations, or programs with quantitative analysis, financial modeling and sales operations 2+ years using Google Sheets/Excel for complex analyses and modeling 2+ years experience with Business Analytics Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex problems and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations Understanding of SQL/SOQL for data extraction Strong communication skills and experience building compelling PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations Ability to translate complex information into clear narratives tailored to audience Cultural competence and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Flexibility to adapt to new demands, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize work High personal accountability and results orientation Self-starter with motivation to go above and beyond when needed Preferred Skills/Experience The following experiences or skills are beneficial but not required.
