Soldering Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an electronic manufacturer in the RTP area who is hiring a Soldering Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm. Responsibilities: Soldering Technician will perform sub assembly and final assembly on printed circuit boards Technician will conduct testing and document/report failures, non-conformances Technician will solder Through Hole and Surface Mount Technology components Technician will follow Electrostatic Discharge safety protocols Requirements: Candidates must have expertise in micro level soldering, soldering small components on a circuit board Candidates must have knowledge of IPC-A-610 guidelines Candidates must be able to assemble and handle small components Candidates must be able to use a microscope for extended periods of time Candidates must be comfortable standing for up to 8 hours/day Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
