Open and Close Dates: Sep 12, 2025 - Sep 29, 2025 Marketing Statement: Summary: This position is located in the Training Management Division (TMD), Office of Antiterrorism Assistance (ATA), Directorate of Training (T), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Department of State (DoS) in Dunn Loring, VA. In this position you will provide senior level technical guidance and strategic programmatic support to DS/ATA leadership, Regional Security Offices (RSOs), and other personnel at posts to effectively deliver capacity-building Foreign Assistance programs. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating law enforcement and security training activities. Experience developing counterterrorism infrastructure plans. Experience formulating public relation plans. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
