Open and Close Dates: Sep 12, 2025 - Sep 29, 2025 Marketing Statement: Summary: This position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security' s Domestic Operations Directorate, Office of Investigations, Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Vetting Unit (DS/INV/CCV) in Arlington, Virginia. In this position you will conduct polygraph examinations at U.S. Embassies and other government facilities, and serve as a quality control examiner of polygraph examinations conducted by DS/INV/CCV. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Conditions of Employment: Education: Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical oversight of polygraph examiners and polygraph examinations. Experience assessing responses to identify any deceptive patterns in a series of polygraph exams. Experience developing test questions related to counterterrorism and counterintelligence.
