The Mission of This Role We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations & Community who is investor-obsessed—a relationship cultivator who thrives on building community within our LP base, earning deep trust, and delivering a world-class investor experience. You will serve as the chief steward of our investor relationships, ensuring every touchpoint is high-quality, thoughtful, transparent, and aligned with our mission. You’ll lead communications that inspire confidence, foster loyalty, and drive reinvestment, treating investors as true partners in our mission. What You’ll Do
Lead & Own Investor Communication: Collaborate with our Director of Marketing and drive all major touch points including weekly insights, monthly newsletters, quarterly reports, quarterly webinars, and our annual in-person investor summit with Peter Rex and senior leadership. Build Community & Trust: Cultivate lasting LP relationships by fostering a shared sense of purpose within the Rex ecosystem. Empower LPs to connect, exchange ideas, and lead alongside one another through initiatives such as investor peer networks and community hubs. Deliver Excellence at Scale: Leverage technology, AI, and digital tools to empower investor self-service while ensuring that every high-touch interaction is warm, clear, and impactful. Drive Re-Investment: Nurture relationships to maintain strong participation in current and future offerings through consistent engagement and transparency. Coordinate High-Impact Events: Orchestrate seamless, high-quality investor gatherings, both virtual and in-person, that showcase our vision, performance, and leadership. Partner with Leadership: Serve as a key leverage point for Peter Rex and the leadership team, ensuring our investor community is deeply connected to our mission. Ideal Candidate Profile
5–9 years in investor relations, capital markets, private equity, or a related field, with a track record of managing and growing investor relationships. Passion for serving investors with the highest level of excellence; views communication as a core part of the product/service. Highly comfortable with CRM systems, marketing automation, AI-powered content tools, and digital event platforms. Program-oriented and methodical; follows through consistently and reliably to build trust. Believes in enabling investor autonomy via self-service resources while delivering exceptional high-touch experiences when needed. Deep resonance with Rex’s mission and values; embraces stewardship, integrity, and long-term partnership. Interest in social impact, community building, and helping investors feel part of a bigger story, where capital delivers returns while serving as a force for good. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Professional development opportunities to advance personal and professional growth Fully remote work flexibility, with travel required for investor meetings and strategic engagements Employment Eligibility & Location Applicants will be required to pass a background check and reference check prior to their first day. For finance-focused positions, a credit check may also be required. We operate in: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. We will hire locally or with relocation to these states; preference for Texas and Florida.
