Sentara is hiring for an IT Specialty Analyst (citizen developers) - Remote! Location:
Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift:
First (Days) Responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements. Analyzes business/clinical needs, evaluates software releases and/or new products, and provides recommendations to optimize processes and reduce expenses. Possesses in-depth business/clinical and application knowledge and experience. Performs workflow assessments to determine functional requirements, develops system test plans, and conducts testing of software upgrades and patches. Maintains records of test progress and results. Handles problem, incident, change management, and service requests. Provides daily on-call support for application issues. Collaborates within cross-functional teams and with end-users to achieve application integration. Communicates software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements. Oversees smaller projects or components, coordinates implementation or planning around software releases, and holds key certifications relevant to supported systems or applications. The ideal candidate will work directly with internal customers to document and redesign business processes, coach citizen developers, and provide technical support using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate within Microsoft 365. Qualifications: No specific education requirements, or 3+ years relevant experience with a degree, or 5+ years relevant experience without a degree
No specific certification or licensure requirements
3+ years experience in SharePoint Online 2+ years experience building/deploying forms/workflows with Power Apps, Power Automate, etc. Proficient with O365 applications Excellent communication skills, customer-facing role Team-oriented, collaborative, analytical, and supportive of users Available during Eastern business hours
