Join the Kelly Professional & Industrial team as a Shipping / Receiving / Warehouse Worker (Temporary Day Shift) with a trusted logistics and distribution partner supporting efficient, on-time customer deliveries. Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Location: 200 Fullerton Ave, Carol Stream, IL 60188 Schedule: Day shift, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Assignment Type: Temporary, short-term placement What's a typical day as a Shipping / Receiving / Warehouse Worker? You will: Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using hand trucks and pallet jacks (and forklifts if certified/required) Create shipping labels and manage carrier pickups using FedEx online shipping tools and the site's warehouse/shipping systems Pack, tape, and prepare boxes and pallets to company packing standards, ensuring safe and damage-free transit Inspect incoming shipments for damage; document shortages/overages and update receiving records Stage product for production or shipment, perform basic cycle counts, and maintain a clean, organized work area Communicate shipment exceptions, delays, or damaged products to supervisors Adhere to company safety and loss-prevention policies (PPE, lifting safe practices, correct palletizing) This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience Proficiency with online shipping systems (FedEx online shipping required) Basic computer/data entry skills (WMS, RF scanners, or Excel a plus) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for an entire shift Forklift certification/experience (preferred, if required at facility) Reliable attendance and ability to pass site background & drug screening What happens next?
