F-16 Systems Engineering Defect Lead

You will be the F-16 Systems Engineering Defect Lead for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Simulations and Systems Labs (SSL) team. Our team is responsible for lab simulation and hardware development, component integration, checkout and release of lab software and hardware products supporting IFG. What You Will Be Doing: Analyzing defects aka System Product Anomaly Reports (SPARs) and coordinating with other teams to resolve hardware, software and/or simulation issues Ensuring defect status is correct and up to date in Jira Driving defects to closure with emphasis on high priority defects Publishing defect metrics and reporting status to external teams Walking rounds in the test station labs to ensure users are supported Identifying and communicating signal discrepancies to Avionics System Engineering Assisting in lab integration events Decomposing system level requirements into detail requirements to support test stations What's In It For You: From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security. You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or above in a Technical discipline. Degrees preferred: Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. Familiarity with System Integration Labs. Experience working with cross collaboration with multiple engineering teams. Desired Skills: F-16 Program Clearances Excellent Technical Oral and Written Communication Skills and strong Interpersonal Skills Experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results Experience in Systems Engineering Requirements, Design, and Verification. Experience leading engineering projects Experience working with JIRA issue tracking and Agile Planning. Excellent organization skills, must be able to manage multiple tasks at once Skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with Jira & Confluence Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines to create a cohesive plan and promote common understanding Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
