Job Description
The Agent Contracting Representative contributes to the successful functioning of the Agent Contracting department by handling the processing of new agent contracts and changes received. Participates in cross training efforts to gain knowledge and understanding of the department. Your Day to Day Process new agent contracts Verify all required contracting paperwork is received for new or reinstated agent applicants. Follow-up with applicants, IMOs and or agency managers if paperwork is incorrect or incomplete. Build and maintain agent records regarding contract, agent information, license, hierarchy, appointments and AML training. Handle phone calls & chats related to contracting questions & issues Process agent information, address and e-mail changes. Terminate agent contracts and state appointments. Research information about laws, state licensing, appointments and contracting on various state insurance department websites. As business demands or at the discretion of Leadership, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Conduct Company business in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations and the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct. Behaves ethically and with integrity and always follows the principles of the Code of Conduct when making business decisions. Compliance with this program is a condition of employment for every American-Amicable employee. What You Have High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of administrative and or customer service experience preferred. Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
