State Representative Jon Albert is now accepting applications in his Winter Haven, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature. Examples of Work Performed: Constituent Management Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports Intradistrict Travel Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District Community and Public Outreach Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures. Constituent Management Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System Required Legislative Filings Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District Community and Public Outreach Mandatory Trainings as Assigned Minimum Qualifications: An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Salary: Annual $46,356. The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package.
