Student Position in Nursing and Allied Health Department

The Nursing and Allied Health Department is recruiting for a student position that will provide general office and administrative support to the NAH staff. This position is for the Fallon campus location. Duties & Responsibilities

Printing, filing, archiving paper files Answering phone calls, greeting visitors, assisting students with inquiries, and providing basic information for each of the NAH courses Assisting faculty with copying and filing Laboratory assistance with general lab cleaning, manikin cleaning, and under the direction of the division assistants and/or director, assist with lab preparation and set-ups Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Chrome Email/Calendar preferred) Established background working in an office environment Familiarity with the healthcare industry and knowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus Student Employment Eligibility

Fall & Spring Semester Eligibility: Enrollment in at least 6 credits each regular semester; Be in a degree seeking program; Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements: 67% completion rate in the last enrolled semester 67% cumulative completion rate 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale Have not exceeded the maximum number of credits allowed (90) or received two degrees OR be on an approved appeal and on probation with an Academic Plan; and Be authorized to work in the United States Summer Eligibility:

Students are eligible to work during the summer if they meet the following criteria: Enrolled in at least 6 summer credits; or Successfully have completed the spring semester and enrolled in the required 6 credits for the fall semester (summer enrollment in this case is not required); and Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements listed previously; and Be authorized to work in the United States Changes in Student Eligibility:

Continued employment is contingent on maintaining eligibility. If a student's eligibility changes their role may be subject to termination and/or they may be temporarily required to remain off work. If students' eligibility is on hold pending the results of an appeal, students are required to remain off work until the appeal has been satisfactorily resolved. Work Study Required:

No Additional Information: Compensation: Student Employee - Level 1 $15 an hour Schedule: Scheduled and available hours may vary and are subject to change based on organizational needs.
