Shipping And Receiving Clerk
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our Oshkosh location, specializing in the fabrication of structural steel. You will play a key role in handling and moving large I-beams, operating a fork truck and overhead crane. Your responsibilities will include unloading raw materials, inspecting and organizing them in the yard or facility, and preparing materials for shipment. This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various weather conditions. Responsibilities: Operate fork truck and overhead crane to move large I-beams. Unload trucks with raw materials and inspect them for quality. Organize materials in the yard or facility for projects. Pick materials from the yard for loading onto trucks. Wrap products securely for shipment. Load trucks for shipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. Essential Skills: 4+ years of shipping and receiving experience within a fabrication environment. Proficiency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Strong mechanical aptitude and material handling skills. Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the department and grow into a lead role. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a fabrication environment is preferred. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OSHKOSH, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
