seeks professionals who are looking to join a dynamic, innovative, and welcoming school community. Camp Nonesuch is hiring camp counselors for the 2023 summer camp season starting June 26 through August 18, and hours are 8:30
4:15 Monday
Friday. Preference for counselors is to work for the entire summer season, but options are available to work a limited number of two-week sessions. Job Summary: We are looking for counselors who have a passion for working with children ages 7-14 and can teach activities they also have a passion for. Examples include but are not limited to sailing, canoeing, kayaking, ceramics, weaving, basketry, multiple sports, archery, fantasy games, woodworking, rocketry, adventure games, drama, music, and many more. Our program is entirely elective for campers, so we provide them with a wide range of possible activities. Counselors have a lot of freedom to design and deliver unique, fun activities they've created as they fit into the camp program. Preferred Qualities: Passion and enthusiasm Great sense of fun. Experience working with kids. Teaching or tutoring experience. Requirements: Counselors must be 18 or older, although there are opportunities for the right 16-17-year-old to work as a counselor. Additional pre-season training is also required (2 days). Note that all counselors must successfully undergo a Massachusetts C.O.R.I. and S.O.R.I. report.
