Accounts Receivable Specialist

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks essential for the financial health of our company. Working 100% onsite, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you will process invoices, manage customer payments, and maintain detailed financial records. Your role will require regular communication with clients to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Responsibilities: Accurately process invoices and manage customer payments. Maintain detailed financial records and ensure data accuracy. Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Review accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments. Assist in preparing monthly reports and provide insights into cash flow and account statuses. Participate in monthly reconciliations with the finance team to ensure accuracy. Utilize NetSuite for invoicing, payment application, and reconciliations. Input and update customer and vendor data in NetSuite. Support general accounting operations as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing. Provide feedback and insights to improve workflows and system usage. Essential Skills: Proficiency in accounts receivable processes. Experience with NetSuite. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage workloads without constant supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Background in Accounts Receivable or general accounting. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Available to start immediately. Work Environment: Work is conducted onsite, five days a week, at our location in Kent, WA. The company is a fast-growing specialty beverage manufacturer, focusing on private label syrups, cocktail mixers, powders, and plastics products. Since 1972, the company has been manufacturing over 500 SKUs of products. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
