Full-Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our construction-focused client in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania. This position offers an opportunity to manage both financial and operational accounting tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining precise financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting project-based accounting functions. Responsibilities: Perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and post journal entries as part of the standard accounting cycle. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Conduct job costing analysis and maintain comprehensive project financial data. Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) schedules to evaluate project profitability and performance. Oversee full-cycle accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes. Manage payroll processing to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time. Support the preparation of financial reports and compliance documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to address accounting-related inquiries and provide financial insights. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in construction or project-based industries. Strong expertise in job costing and project-based accounting methodologies. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and payroll systems such as ADP.
