Whitefish plays a vital role in shaping each patient's experience. As the first point of contact, this position is essential in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring accurate information is collected and communicated across the care team. In this full-time role, you will work closely with other Patient Access Representatives, the clinic Supervisor, and therapy staff to support seamless clinic operations. This role is key to maintaining efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and strong patient communicationall while contributing to a positive and professional environment for patients and staff alike. Key Responsibilities: Patient Registration & Insurance
Collect and enter accurate demographic and insurance information; verify benefits prior to the initial appointment and monthly thereafter. Scheduling
Schedule patients for initial evaluations and follow-up appointments. Authorizations
Submit authorization requests and track approved therapy visits. Patient Communication
Provide patients with basic education about benefits and potential financial responsibilities; direct more complex questions to appropriate staff as needed. Qualifications: Required: Previous experience in an office environment. Demonstrated ability to provide professional and courteous customer service in person, by phone, and via email. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Proficiency with computers, electronic medical records (EMR), and insurance processes. Flexibility to ensure consistent front office coverage. Preferred: Experience in a medical office or rehabilitation/therapy clinic setting. Bilingual skills. Additional certifications or healthcare-related training. Schedule Details: Work Week: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Typical Hours: Patients are scheduled between approximately 7:00 am and 5:45 pm.
