5:00 PM Be at the center of patient care coordination! This position plays a vital role in ensuring patients at both Logan Health Medical Center (LHMC) and Logan Health Whitefish (LHW) infusion centers receive seamless, timely scheduling and authorizations. You'll directly support the centralized scheduler, a key connector between both campuses, and help patients get the care they need without delay. This is a dynamic role where your organization skills, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities truly make a difference every day. Picture this: You arrive to a supportive team environment and start your day reviewing patient appointments that span across infusion, imaging, and surgical care. Throughout the day, you'll: Answer calls from patients and providers, ensuring every detail is scheduled with accuracy and compassion. Juggle schedules for both Kalispell and Whitefish infusion centersbalancing priorities and making sure no patient falls through the cracks. Collaborate with nurses, providers, and staff to confirm patients have the right prep instructions and appointments in place. End your day knowing you've helped dozens of patients stay on track with critical treatments. Every day is different, but one thing is constant: your work makes a direct impact on patient care and the smooth running of our clinics. Coordinate and schedule a wide variety of patient services, including infusion, imaging, labs, surgical procedures, and follow-up appointments. Partner with LHMC and LHW infusion centers, sharing resources and supporting centralized scheduling and authorizations. Serve as the point of connection for patients, providers, and staffensuring preparation, paperwork, and clear instructions are always in place. Manage multi-line phone systems and electronic scheduling platforms with accuracy and professionalism. Support daily operations by collaborating closely with leadership, helping streamline processes, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Participate in onboarding and cross-training, contributing to a strong, knowledgeable team. What You Bring to the Table: Preferred: Experience in healthcare scheduling, medical front office, or customer service. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts. Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, and able to type quickly. Excellent communication skillsclear, professional, and compassionate with patients and colleagues. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently. Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not requiredif you're a quick learner with the right mindset, we'll support your success!
