The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool facility; while engaging guests with personal, friendly, intuitive service during their use of the pool or gym facilities. Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner; fill all reasonable guest requests or requirements; anticipate guest needs. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction Anticipate and service the guest's needs before requests are necessary. Maintain the Pool and seating areas in an orderly and clean manner The ability to ensure safety procedures are followed and notifies Security of any accident or injury. The ability to monitor all pool and jacuzzi activity watching for the welfare and safety of all in the pool area. The ability to enforce rules and regulations with guests. The ability to assist guests and residents in seating, offering towels, and informing them of amenities, hotel information and food and beverage service. Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. 1-2 years food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience. Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours or more. Able to work outdoors in the sun and warm temperatures. Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. What to Expect
