Job Title
Based in Charlotte, NC, this newly established U.S. sales office represents the American branch of a long-standing German family-owned company founded in 1916. Operating globally in a high-tech niche of mechanical engineering, the company delivers customer-specific power transmission solutions in small batch sizes. All components are engineered and produced in Germany and serve a wide range of industries, including medical, robotics, aerospace, and marine, as well as traditional sectors such as printing and packaging machinery. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide support in marketing initiatives and trade show logistics Contribute to the planning and implementation of sales campaigns Conduct outreach and cold calling to support business development Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism Support sales activities through order processing, documentation, and customer follow-ups Maintain CRM and customer databases with accuracy Assist with quotations, invoices, and shipping coordination Act as a key liaison between the U.S. office and German headquarters Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, mail, and scheduling Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and calendar management Liaise with external accountants and payroll providers Maintain records for compliance and reporting purposes Skills & Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field 25 years of experience in administrative, operations, or backoffice support roles Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Proactive, independent working style with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP system experience a plus Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across international teams Benefits
