This role focuses on resolving billing issues, generating financial reports, analyzing policy data, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners to support debt recovery efforts. The ideal candidate is building experience in managing aged receivables, reconciling policies, and resolving disputes, with the ability to negotiate payment arrangements and maintain accurate financial records. This role will transition to a hybrid schedule following the initial pay period and is based in our downtown Cincinnati office. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Administers accounts payable, accounts receivable, and direct billing operations by ensuring accurate invoices, payment processing, and financial reconciliation. Participates in resolving stakeholder inquiries and disputes related to billing discrepancies, aged receivables, and account reconciliation. Prepares financial reports and registers, maintaining accuracy and completeness of accounting records. Analyzes policy data and company guidelines to support resolution of outstanding balances and assist in determining appropriate collection action. Coordinates with internal departments and third-party collection agencies to assist with recovering outstanding balances and processing uncollectible debt write-offs. Developing experience handling aged receivables and navigating moderately complex policy reconciliations. Developing ability to resolve disputes and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders. Assists in negotiating payment plans or settlements with clients to facilitate debt recovery. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance collections, agency billing, or related financial support operations. Demonstrates technical knowledge of standard collections practices and procedures. Adheres to established collection policies, processes, and procedures. Familiarity with collection regulations (e.g., FDCPA) and knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations and company policies/guidelines related to insurance accounting. Develops and maintains proficiency in billing platforms and CRM systems. Demonstrates attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
