Certified Medical Assistant - Bilingual

Our Back Office Medical Assistants work directly with a Primary Care Medical Practitioner to assist in managing patient flow and daily schedules. Duties include patient rooming to efficiently meet daily appointment schedules, reviewing presenting issues, visit notes, history, orders, and updating appropriately within the EMR, performing vitals, and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Responsibilities

2-3 years related experience, preferably in a Primary Health Care setting. Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information; knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations. Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems. Experience with medical refill, injections, etc. Work Environment

The work environment involves working directly with a Primary Care Medical Practitioner in a healthcare setting. It requires the ability to manage patient flow efficiently and use electronic medical record systems. The role demands adherence to HIPAA regulations for handling confidential information. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
