Certified Medical Assistant - Back Office
As a Back Office Medical Assistant, you will collaborate with a Primary Care Medical Practitioner to efficiently manage patient flow and daily schedules. Your role is vital in ensuring a seamless experience for patients by handling rooming, reviewing presenting issues, visit notes, and orders, as well as updating the electronic medical records. You will also perform vitals and assist physicians during exams or procedures. Responsibilities
Work directly with a Primary Care Medical Practitioner to manage patient flow and daily schedule. Room patients to meet daily appointment schedules efficiently. Review presenting issues, visit notes, and medical history, updating records appropriately within the EMR. Perform vital signs and assist physicians with exams and procedures. Essential Skills
Certified Medical Assistant (current certification required). 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a Primary Health Care setting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficient in handling confidential and sensitive information, with knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations. Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant certification. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Work Environment
The work environment is a primary healthcare setting where you will work closely with medical practitioners and patients.
