Payroll & HRIS Support Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & HRIS Support Specialist to assist our HR Manager with timekeeping, reporting, and system updates within Paycom. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and has a strong sense of accuracy and accountability, especially during payroll cycles. Responsibilities: Ensure employees are clocked in correctly based on attendance sheets and complete timecard edits. Proactively identify discrepancies, suggest improvements, and transition toward exception-based reporting. Download reports from Paycom and assist with payroll-related reporting. Update Paycom with accurate clock-in data from other teams. Support and collaborate with other teams respectfully and professionally. Essential Skills: 2+ years of experience in timekeeping or payroll support roles. 2+ years of experience in HR or payroll reporting. 12 years in HRIS or administrative data entry. Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and formulas. Familiarity with Paycom or similar payroll systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS platforms is highly desirable but not mandatory. Experience with exception-based reporting and cross-departmental collaboration is a plus. Work Environment: This is an onsite position from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The company operates across multiple sites nationwide, with a workforce that fluctuates seasonally between 650 and 1300 employees.
