Newborn Nanny Position
A lovely high-profile family in the West Village is seeking newborn coverage for their child, who was born in March. There has been an NCS in place since then, but her contract ends soon, and she cannot extend. The role will be 20/7, but the candidate will not have to stay over every night, so candidates must be local to NYC. While the family primarily resides in NYC, they also travel for work often, so candidates should be open to extensive travel while on shift. The family is looking for someone to start on October 9th. Responsibilities
Ability to remain extremely flexible with one's schedule daily. Everything related to the child. Supervising meal and sleep schedules. Planning and executing infant activities and outings. Accompanying the child to scheduled classes and appointments. Keeping the children's belongings neat and organized. Traveling with the family as needed- packing and preparing for each destination. Qualifications
Team player who works well with others. Laid back and calm personality. Strong understanding of childhood development. Prior high-profile experience is preferred. Professional and discreet. Understanding of how to work with involved parents and how to step in/out as needed. Engaging and assertive with children. Requirements
Experience working with a 6-month-old. NCS experience. Current CPR certification. Swimming ability. At least 5 years of recent infant/toddler experience. Covid vaccinated and willing to stay up to date on recommended boosters and get an annual flu shot. Salary and Benefits
DOE starts at $800 GROSS per day. DO not apply with NET numbers.
