Receive all incoming shipments (perishable and non-perishable/ beverage items) according to hotel procedures and safety standards. Ability to check all incoming goods (food and non-food items) against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to assure that the type and amount of items charged and ordered were received. Provide coverage in absence of receivers. Ability to issue food, beverage and non-food goods to appropriate departments on authorized supply stock requisitions. Verify accuracy of deliveries by checking invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips. Adequate computer skills, to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems ( Birchstreet and Q Track). Inspect the quality and temperature of food deliveries, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Report and document any damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately to the culinary department and purchasing team. Label and store all items in designated storage areas (coolers, freezers, purchasing storages, etc.). Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all receiving and storage areas. Assist with inventory counts and update stock records when required. Ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel and purchasing management. Communicate effectively with suppliers, the purchasing team, and kitchen staff regarding delivery issues or substitutions. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as required by hotel policy and local regulations. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor and log temperatures of refrigerated items at the time of delivery. Experience Required

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Prior experience in Hospitality setting preferred. Benefits Four Season Employees Enjoy
