We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee and manage our AP team. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The AP Manager will also play a key role in driving process improvements, implementing automation, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration within the department. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all AP functions.
Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and handle escalated issues.
Monitor key metrics (aging reports, payment cycles, etc.) and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Operations) to support business needs.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, including system enhancements and automation.
Assist with audits, month-end close, and other ad hoc financial projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with AP automation tools a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to build effective relationships.
