The Job: As a Supervisor of Event Services at Dolby Live, you'll help create unforgettable moments for every guest who walks through our doors. Working alongside the Event Manager and Premium & Groups Manager, you'll make sure every detail of our events and premium experiences runs smoothly - from front-of-house coordination to VIP service delivery. You'll lead a team of hospitality pros, setting the tone with polished, professional, and personalized service. Whether it's greeting guests with a warm welcome or delivering seamless VIP experiences, you'll help turn great events into WOW moments! The Day-to-Day: Oversee the Guest Services Desk, making sure everything runs smoothly and responding to questions or requests Work with the Event Manager and Premium & Groups Manager to plan and deliver custom VIP experiences, such as Meet & Greets and pre-show events Serve as the main contact for clients, tenants, subcontractors, and guests, making sure communication about staff and services is clear and effective Train, manage, and supervise part-time event staff to ensure top-quality performance and service during events Manage uniform inventory and event equipment, help with budget planning, and ensure equipment is used properly and efficiently Create event cost estimates, schedule staff based on event needs, and make sure there is enough coverage The Ideal Candidate: Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays One (1) year of experience in an arena environment working the events, concerts, game management and production Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders The Perks & Benefits: Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
