Description

This project will upgrade the entrance fee collection system, remove an existing building, and make repairs to the existing parking lot and beach access ways. The work includes but is not limited to: replacing the manual fee collections system with the infrastructure for an automated system (automated system hardware to be installed as a separate project at a later date); concrete repairs to the existing parking lot; pavement striping, way finding, and other signage; installation of barriers and gates for traffic management; replacement of parking lot lighting; replacement of selected area perimeter fencing; repairs to ABA parking an beach access routes; demolition of building 609; and other related tasks as described in the project construction drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Qualification:

CMR shall possess the following qualifications:

  • CMR shall be knowledgeable in construction practices including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulations
  • Must have a minimum of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour construction safety training),
  • Must be knowledgeable in cost breakdown estimating and negotiating, and technical writing.
  • CMR shall also be computer literate and able to open and manipulate Oracle Primavera Project and Microsoft (MS) Project, Word and Excel.

Years of experience to include field of expertise and discipline.

Active professional registration or relevant certifications.
  • Other experience and qualifications relevant to the same or similar work required under this contract. Knowledge of and experience with construction practices directly related to concrete paving, striping, utility installation, site furnishing and MUTCD/wayfinding signage installation.
  • Knowledge of and experience with on-site field sampling with concrete flatwork and nuclear density testing.
  • List of recent and relevant projects in which the individual has worked to include name of project(s) and project location(s). Provide information regarding the project and the specific work that the CMR performed. In addition, include project owner representative contact information.
  • Education and/or professional qualifications:
  • Construction Management.
  • Construction practices including minimum three years' experience in concrete and utilities construction inspections. CMR's with education leading to or equivalent to a Construction Management Degree or Engineering Degree will be more favorably rated.
  • Computer skills.
  • OSHA 30-hour Health and Safety training for construction (min).
  • MS Project skills including familiarity with baseline schedules, report generation and critical path theory.
  • Provide education, experience, and qualifications developing and reviewing estimates and schedules including software, formats, and phases used.
  • Prior experience working with Federal Government Project Managers/CORs on processing change orders, requests for information, submittals, and field observation reports.
  • Prior experience with resource protection measures required by government agencies to avoid and minimize construction related adverse impacts to natural and cultural resources
  • Each CMR must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with the three phases of onsite quality control as outlined in Specification Section 01 40 00 of the attached construction documents.
