Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This is a key leadership role requiring hands-on construction knowledge, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site activities for commercial construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections
• Maintain project schedule and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Lead job site meetings and maintain a professional relationship with clients, architects, and engineers
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle
• Track and report daily logs, progress photos, and safety reports
• Assist in resolving on-site issues, conflicts, or delays quickly and efficiently

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven track record managing projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, PlanGrid, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug & alcohol screening.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in office, industrial, or healthcare construction
• Spanish-English bilingual a plus (not required)
