AIA Billing Specialist / Accounts Receivable

$50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year Location: Miami, Florida Position Type: Permanent Location: Accounting & Finance Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AIA Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Miami. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the finance department with a focus on AIA billing and receivables. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction billing practices, particularly AIA documentation and compliance. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit AIA billing documents (G702/G703 forms) in accordance with contract terms. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies. Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing. Maintain organized records of billing and payment history. Assist with month-end closing and reporting related to AR. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with a focus on AIA billing. Strong knowledge of AIA documentation and construction billing processes. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
