Accountant Position
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including the creation of schedules and reconciliations.
- Process financial data accurately in accounting systems while maintaining adherence to internal controls.
- Reconcile accounts such as prepaids, accruals, and revenue to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Support audit and review processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects to support decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with precision and efficiency.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve accounting procedures.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.
- Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and tools, with a focus on data accuracy.
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting standards and internal controls.
- Ability to support audits and financial reviews through detailed analysis and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to financial projects.
