308 Solutions Group is hiring: Service Electrician in Dallas

308 Solutions Group is currently seeking a Service Electrician who wants to do more than rough in and trim out houses day in and day out. This position would be perfect for an Electrician with residential and commercial experience who is comfortable being in front of customers. Experience with sales and service may be beneficial.

What You’ll Do:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, services, and equipment
• Communicate with customers about their issues, material needs, and job costs
• Complete service requests, invoicing, and take payments from customers
• Lead small crews (2-5 electricians) in small remodel or new build jobs as needed
• Set high standards of performance, quality, safety, integrity, and accountability for yourself and your team
• Be a team player with an ability to develop and use relationships to facilitate the completion of work goals
• Provide excellent customer relations through utilization of effective Solution based techniques
• Teach, lead, and grow young electricians into the tradesmen you want to work with

The Skills and Background You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of general electrical circuits and wiring of buildings
• Knowledge of local electrical codes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference materials
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability and capability to complete work on ladders or personnel lifts
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Must be able to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs
• Must have accurate hearing, speech, vision, and color recognition
• Must be capable of working in hot and cold temperatures
• Flexible to work shift work to include on call and weekends, if needed
• Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English
• Must be able to direct work as needed.

Position Requirements

• Journeyman's License or Residential Wireman License in the State of Texas
• High School Graduate or Holder of G.E.D.
• All Hand-tools & PPE
• Dependable vehicle for transportation to and from work
• Valid Drivers License with a Clean Driving Record
• Must be licensed to work in TX
• Legal to work in the US
• Must be able to work as a team and lead crew members
