We're looking for a talented Lead Barista to create and shape our coffee program, drive creativity, and inspire a strong team culture.
Position OverviewThe Lead Barista will oversee the day-to-day coffee operations, from crafting high-quality espresso and specialty beverages to training and mentoring baristas. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for coffee, a flair for creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Lead Barista will also collaborate with management to develop signature drinks, ensure consistency, and maintain an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of the coffee program, including menu development, quality control, and product consistency.
- Create and innovate seasonal and signature coffee and beverage offerings.
- Train, mentor, and support barista staff to deliver excellent service and product standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering of coffee, syrups, and related supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the coffee station and equipment.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously look for ways to improve the coffee experience.
- Work closely with management and culinary teams to align the coffee program with overall brand standards.
- Lead by example in providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service in a high-volume environment.
- 2+ years of barista experience in a specialty coffee or high-volume café/restaurant environment.
- Prior experience in a leadership, trainer, or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso techniques, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Creativity and passion for developing unique drinks and seasonal menus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
