Overview
Directive Consulting is a performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use a proprietary methodology that focuses on SQLs and Customers rather than traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that help clients hit their SQL targets.
This role reports to the Associate Director and is a key part of the Paid Media team. The Paid Media Strategist works directly with enterprise clients, communicates results, creates custom strategies, and executes Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing Paid strategies for enterprise SaaS businesses.
Role Title This role is listed internally as Account Strategist, Paid Media.
Responsibilities
Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, ensure work quality, and identify improvements
Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network
Build strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization
Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
Execute and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms, focusing on keyword research, ad copy, and audience targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
3+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency
Experience working with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
Deep expertise across paid search and paid social campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and others)
Proficiency with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
Ability to analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions
Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS
Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Competitive and curious mindset; a true problem solver
Always looking to grow and share industry knowledge
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Quality-focused and ethical approach to advertising
Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

What We Offer We have a set living wage at Directive; the annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $70,000–$95,000 USD, with potential for bonus eligibility. This range is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and depth of experience.
