Overview ProSidian Seeks a Paralegal Specialist [DOE0060059] for Program Support on an Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS – Richland, Washington. Supports DOE EM Hanford in a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. Responsibilities and Duties Legal research, document prep, FOIA, case tracking, confidentiality; supports Program Office #01 (Office of the Manager, Office of the Chief of Staff, Office of Communications, Chief Counsel) under Task #01.07. Paralegal Specialist duties include drafting and managing legal documents, supporting litigation processes, and overseeing database/file management to enhance legal compliance and operational efficiency. Support for Environmental Management Sector clients such as DOE. Location near CONUS – Richland, WA with work at Hanford Field Office (HFO). Focus on general support services for Hanford Field Office including governance, accountability, and mission support; travel and security requirements as described below. Location and Travel Position located in the Pacific Northwest region, Richland, Washington (initial site: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354). Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the CO in advance, per Federal Travel Regulations. Qualifications 5+ years paralegal/legal support experience; DOE/environmental law helpful. Education: BA/BS or paralegal certification. Experience supporting Oversight and General Support Services under DOE Office of the Manager/Chief of Staff/Communications/Chief Counsel functional areas. Skills and Competencies Legal research, document management, confidentiality practices. Program and project management support with oversight and general support services alignment. Discretion, accuracy, prioritization; strong organizational and communication skills. Ancillary Details Standardize legal hold and FOIA processes; on-site and some remote work as approved. Functional attributes include legal admin and documentation support; security clearances as required; place of performance at Hanford Site. Government-furnished resources provided; on-site performance with some remote support as approved. Other Details Sensitive information handling. Education and Certifications Education requirements and qualifications are as stated above. The role requires compliance with security and government-related requirements.
