Client Relationship Consultant 3 (Banker) – Camarillo, CA at U.S. Bank. This role focuses on building relationships with customers through in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide tailored financial counsel with a digital-first approach. Responsibilities
Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up; learn about clients’ financial needs and banking channel preferences. Identify and present solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs; engage and communicate effectively with clients. Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services. Provide a consistent, optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to meet their financial needs. Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Typically four to five years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up Strong communication and engagement skills with clients Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services Customer service and interpersonal skills Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions Experience with digital products and self-service technologies Ability to uncover true client needs with a digital-first mindset Ability to make appropriate recommendations to meet customer needs reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred Licensing and Compliance:
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z. You will undergo the required registration process, including a criminal background and credit check.
