Job Title: Food Services Worker
Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Food Services Worker at a welcoming retirement community in Wichita. With only 140 residents, you will have the opportunity to create delicious meals in a more intimate setting compared to larger facilities.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals for residents following established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Assist with dishwashing and busing tables in the cafeteria once meal preparation is complete.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
Assist with food prep and tray line operations as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in food service or a fast food environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capability to stand and work on feet during shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or as a barista is preferred.
Flexibility in scheduling is appreciated due to a smaller number of cooks.
Willingness to work every other weekend.

Work Environment
You will be working at a retirement home community in Wichita, KS, with a friendly atmosphere and supportive staff. The work schedule varies weekly, with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for servers and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for cooks. Expect to be on your feet during shifts, providing service in a dynamic and rewarding setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
