Position Specific Description
Lead complex, high-impact process improvement and technology enablement initiatives across NextEra. Drive AI-readiness transformation, process optimization, and strategic project delivery while fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence. This principal-level role requires deep expertise in both traditional and agile project management methodologies to execute enterprise-wide initiatives that directly support NextEra's business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Initiative Leadership
: Manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, including process documentation initiatives, AI-readiness programs, and enterprise technology implementations
Process Transformation:
Drive process improvement workshops, Six Sigma DMAIC methodology application, and development of AI-ready process documentation across business units
Stakeholder Management:
Interface with executive leadership, business unit directors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic outcomes
Technology Enablement:
Lead implementation of process improvement technologies, automation solutions, and enterprise platforms (Confluence, SharePoint, Alteryx workflows)
Quality Excellence
: Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify quick wins, eliminate waste, and optimize organizational processes
Change Management:
Champion organizational transformation initiatives and drive adoption of new processes and technologies
Portfolio Management:
Maintain project dashboards, communicate progress to executive leadership, and ensure strategic value delivery
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Preferred skills/experience
PMP or Agile certification required
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proven experience managing enterprise-wide initiatives across multiple business units
Strong background in process improvement and change management
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Sound business and financial acumen
Strong analytical skills and data driven

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues
Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 6+ years
