Class Summary This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description This Part-time Clerk position will be performing a variety of basic clerical office functions, which may include typing, filing, copying, faxing, opening, sorting, and distributing mail, and/or performing other related activities. The ideal candidate will need a thorough understanding of the assigned area, and be flexible, all while providing exceptional customer service and working well under pressure.

Greeting and assisting customers and the public in a front-desk setting Answering and directing phone calls from the public Informing the general public about services Processing and entering data Performing office procedures and methods with applicable software Operating office equipment, such as computers, faxes, etc. Public Speaking Duties

High school diploma or GED One year of general office experience One year of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
