Managed Care Contract Analyst - 2 to 3 month temp/contract role
Location: Dallas, TX 75209
Pay: $50-$60/hr
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30a-4:30p
Job Summary:
As a
Managed Care Contract Analyst , you will play a crucial role in the financial health of our organization by managing complex data, analyzing contract performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue. You will be responsible for interpreting financial terms, developing reimbursement methodologies, and providing actionable insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Modeling:
Perform detailed financial and data analysis, and interpret contract terms to support financial modeling. Develop and maintain contract models within the Epic system to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reimbursement & Revenue Management:
Create effective reimbursement methodologies and identify revenue-enhancing opportunities through in-depth data analysis. Strategic Support:
Develop alternative financial proposals and prepare revised models that align with budget parameters. Present clear, data-driven recommendations to Managed Care leadership. Reporting & Data Management:
Provide ad-hoc, detailed data reports related to Managed Care agreements and Patient Financial Services activity for both internal and external stakeholders. System Maintenance:
Maintain all contracts and related data within the Epic system. Required Skills & Experience:
Experience:
Proven experience in complex data and financial analysis, preferably within a managed care or healthcare setting. Technical Proficiency:
Required:
Epic certifications in
Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) Resolute . Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, perform contract modeling, and develop sound reimbursement methodologies. Communication:
Excellent communication skills to present complex financial recommendations to leadership and support internal and external customers. Data Validation:
Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data validation.
