Our boutique law firm in Encino is seeking a temporary Receptionist to cover front desk operations during staff vacation. This is a short-term assignment focused on phone coverage and light office support.

- Assignment Dates: September 16–25
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (1-hour lunch).
- Location: Onsite in Encino (parking provided).
- Dress Code: Business casual.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a multi-line phone system effectively.
Responsibilities
• Manage and operate a multi-line phone system to direct calls efficiently and effectively.
• Welcome visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and courteous experience.
• Sort incoming mail and distribute it accurately to the appropriate recipients.
• Process and organize checks and other simple administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold a detail-oriented atmosphere.
• Provide basic support to attorneys and staff, ensuring their administrative needs are met.
• Coordinate schedules and appointments when required.
• Handle inbound calls, addressing inquiries or forwarding them to the correct department.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in receptionist duties, preferably in a legal or meticulous office setting.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone system confidently and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage mail and administrative tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Courteous demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
