We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning Jan 1, 2026. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Jan 1, 2026 LOA: 20 days Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: Clinic: 8AM-5PM on Jan 2, Jan 22, Jan 23, Feb 5, Feb 6, Feb 12, Feb 13, -Hour Call: 7AM Jan 1, 2026 to 7AM Jan 4, 2026 5PM Jan 21, 2026 to 7AM Jan 25, 2026 5PM Feb 4, 2026 to 7AM Feb 8, 2026 5PM Feb 11, 2026 to 7AM Feb 16, 2026 Responsibilities and Duties Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (with or without vacuum assistance) Manage high-risk obstetrical deliveries Conduct dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures Provide contraceptive care including Nexplanon and IUD placement Perform routine gynecologic procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies, and LEEP Conduct minor surgical procedures including circumcisions and vasectomies Manage gynecologic and obstetric consultations Deliver care in a rural and FQHC setting Additional Information Must hold a valid California medical license Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, NRP, PALS Experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC settings preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
