Full-time positions available for shifts — starting at $18.00/hour.

Shifts

  • Day Shift — Monday–Friday, scheduled within hours of 7:00am–6:00pm.
  • 2nd Shift (PM) — Monday–Friday, scheduled within hours of 1:00pm–10:00pm. Shift differential pay +$2.00/hour (full-time shifts only).
  • Weekend Shift — Friday–Monday, scheduled within hours of 7:00am–6:00pm. Shift differential pay +$2.00/hour (full-time shifts only).

Requirements

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software; ability to lift 50 lbs., stand/walk for up to 10 hours, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, continuously climb and descend stairs safely; willing and able to operate powered equipment (e.g., forklift).

Skills And Experience Preferred

Previous forklift experience; customer service skills.

Duties And Responsibilities

A Warehouse Associate at Acme Tools performs a variety of warehousing tasks in support of all sales distribution points while adhering to the company’s safety, quality, and production standards. This individual will assist with unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment. Once freight has been unloaded, the associate will compare goods received and packing slips to ensure order accuracy, inspect goods for any damage, notify their supervisor of discrepancies, and scan or enter product into inventory control system or related computer program.

Maintain a consistent and adequate stock of products on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly condition. Use manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between warehouse and store locations. Participate in scheduled inventory events such as physical inventory counts.

Prepare shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations. Accurately pick items from customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions and prepare shipments and load product onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehicles. Occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or pick up items from various locations.

Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety. May participate in property maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care. Adhere to safety standards and report any suspicious activity to maintain a safe and secure work environment.

This position will perform related tasks as assigned.
