Senior Accountant – Equity & Payroll Focus (Remote)

A fast-growing, tech-forward publicly traded company is seeking a Senior Accountant with deep experience in stock compensation, payroll accounting, and NetSuite to join their GL Operations team. This fully remote role sits at the intersection of day-to-day accounting and strategic scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Own payroll and equity-related journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities across multiple entities
• Accurately account for stock-based compensation in compliance with US GAAP
• Review payroll clearing accounts, benefits accruals, and operating expenses
• Lead or support special projects like payroll automation and GL process improvements
• Serve as a key contact for quarterly reviews and year-end audit, including PBC prep
• Maintain documentation for payroll and equity accounting procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA track preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on equity/stock comp and payroll
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite
• Experience with equity admin tools (e.g., Carta, Shareworks, etc.)
• Public company or audit experience a plus
