About the Opportunity
LHH is partnering with a mission-driven organization that develops and manages impactful housing initiatives across the nation to hire a Project Accountant. This organization is committed to improving our community with one project at a time while offering a meaningful workplace. This is a Hybrid role working one day a week in office.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support a dynamic real estate development team. This role will focus on financial tracking and reporting for active development projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and reconcile project-related financial transactions
- Prepare draw packages and journal entries
- Manage weekly check runs and month-end close
- Update budgets and assist with audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project transitions and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Background in real estate or construction accounting required
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
