Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR practices and programs to support SO business objectives, with focus on employee relations, talent development, talent acquisition and workforce planning, compensation, performance management, change management and positive cultural preservation.
- Act as a central point of communication within assigned business and functional areas.
- Implement end-to-end recruitment process, including: profile alignment and consulting with hiring manager; job posting and advertising; managing applicant tracking system; liaising with 3rd party recruiters or leasing agencies; attending job fairs; resume and phone screening; coordinating interview schedules; arranging candidate travel; making hiring and pay decisions with the hiring manager; assisting in the preparation of an employment offer; collecting pre-employment documentation; facilitating welcome/on-boarding meetings.
- Oversee onboarding process, including background checks and drug screens, new hire bundles, orientation schedules, coordination with other departments, and delivering new hire HR orientation.
- Oversee the termination process, including creating separation letters and notifying relevant internal parties.
- Organize training sessions as needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Benefits Annual Enrollment and may conduct annual presentations.
- Provide backup for the Time and Admin function.
- Process additional payments (e.g., sales commissions, bonuses).
- Assist with compensation and benefits, including gathering updated market data and benchmark reports in alignment with Corporate Benefits/Compensation Team.
- Prepare and collate reports to support HRBP analyses of HR KPIs and related data (hiring, sickness, attrition, diversity, etc.).
- Support Associate Engagement Activities and local site events aimed at associate engagement.
Qualifications
Required:
- Knowledge of human resources management practices and US labor/employment law.
- Ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
- Ability to resolve problems using sound judgment, policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with financial and business acumen.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter, flexible to changing business demands, with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills; patience and professionalism.
- Keen ability to comprehend and analyze complex data sets.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Predictive Index (PI) or DISC and Korn Ferry 360° tool helpful.
- Prior experience in a global environment.
